Is there competition in Yoshinkan Aikido?
In our style of aikido we stress cooperation and blending with our partner’s movements, physically and mentally. There is no competition, no winners and no losers. (See Dojo Etiquette – the relationship between Shite and Uke. Shite does the technique while Uke receives the technique).
